leaves curling up

what does it mean when the leaves start to curl and point up ?? could it be the light being abit too close ?? im using a 400w hps and my baby's are only days old i'll try get a decent pic of what i mean in a few mins.

its too hot i think my ladies are doing the same thing and new growth is real thin leaves
check the soil is it dry? if so you might want to water a little more often i just started trying this
 
i dont think it is a nute deficency cos its just PH'd water its been getting. i have moved the light up a few inches 2 see if that sorts out the problem. thanx for your input guy's.

hi guy's, i raised the light last night and it seems to have solved the problem with the leaves. tody they are all looking normal.
