Leaves curling up due to cfl?

On one of the plants i had before the dog got in there and ripped it out the pot its leaves were starting to curl up on both sides being the light to close (cfl) i know it was supposed to be 1-3 inchs away but i thought this was normal with cfls anyway the dog uprooted that one and then left the 2 sprouts alone anway the curling is now happening to these 2 week old sprouts. Has anyone else had this problems with cfls
 
see i was looking through some cfl journals and some of them have what im describing its nothing to do with nutrients it looks like its too close to them man the lights are about 1.5-2 in away overhead
 
my ph is good i check everytime i water the runoff is a bit difficult for me to test since its brown and i have the liquid drop kit
 
Damn I would but its a pain with this tablet it was the whole leaf curling up at the sides I moved the lights up a fourth inch and fixed itself shortly after
 
you got a fan blowing over the bulbs ive had a 23 watter sitting right on on some leaves for a whole night never even burned them so i guess you cant get to close with cfls
 
yeah man i got a little personal fan in there it was probably just the bagseed gens i raised the lights slightly and then presto they uncurled within like an hour or so
