Leaves cracking and breaking off!!!

Hi. I am having some problems with a bagseed plant. it is about 3 weeks old and for about the last week and a half the leaves having been slowly cracking and breaking off. The leaves start by getting a few holes, then the holes get bigger and the whole part of the leaf just eventually falls off. Also, I notice that the leaves are getting wet with internal plant water, mainly through the base of the leaves that are affected. All of this is mainly happening to the new leaves, but it is also happening to the older leaves. I thought it might be nute burn at first, but it was only at 700ppm for a while. Then i cut it back even more to 550 ppm, and it's still doing it. What gives? I had a couple of holes open in my res, but I just plugged them up today. Could that have been the problem? I thought it might be heat stress, but I moved the light back even farther. HELP PLEASE!!!
P.S. pH is also fine and I don't see bugs of any kind.

you got bug problems man
i don't think so because sometimes these holes start off as slits along the leaf. Way too perfect for being a bite from a bug. I've never seen one that looked chewed either. I've been checking for bugs, and I've never seen one. If this makes sense, there isn't actually any leaf missing until it falls off. If you put the slits and/or holes back together, there is no missing plant material. I'm dumbfounded.

wow thats...weird. so its an issue with just the plant and nothing else. are your leaves really dry? maybe the issue is your lights?

my leaves don't feel overly dry, but then again it is dwc. i had my 600w about 1 foot away. i moved it to about 18-20 inches today. i may just flush it for 2 days or so, and work backwards to diagnose the problem.
P.S. Also, I've heard about the inch of airspace you're technically supposed to have between the bottom of the net and the top of the water. I don't have that because it's a rather shallow tub. Could this be causing it? I'm not sure because it's not like the leaves are droopy or turning yellow or anything...

im thrown for a loop man. ive never seen a problem like this before that wasnt cause of bugs. if you find the issue lemme know

ok, so i lowered the water level to where it's just barely splashing the net. i think this may have been the problem because it seems that most of the cracks were occurring along the veins. in my mind, that makes sense. I also lowered my nute concentration to about 100 ppm (really it's 500 ppm if you consider the 400ppm tap water i am using :o). we'll see what happens in the next few days.

if your water is at 400ppm thats the main problem right there ,use bottled water or distilled water

Well, I guess you were right. Even after I did all that other stuff to correct it, they were still breaking. So, I went out and bought some distilled water, and now it is growing faster than ever before and the cracks have stopped.
I just recently moved to a different part of the country, and the water is very hard here. I used to use tap water with no problems (where I used to live), so I figured I could maybe offset the high calcium and chlorine levels with making a good concoction of nutrient solution. The plant always seemed to grow slow, but then it started cracking and I knew something was wrong. Well, I think we figured it out. If anyone else has problems like this or describes their plant/leaves as cracking along the veins and then sloughing off, then it may be a poor quality tap water. There must have been some serious nute lockout with those high Calcium levels.
THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP! I APPRECIATE IT GREATLY!

Here is an update on my plant. I've included the picture from four days ago and I've taken another one today to show a side-by-side comparison. Now remind you, this is only 4 days later. The only thing I've done different is switch to distilled water. Anyone that doesn't think the kind of water doesn't make a difference can go and grow some schwag in their mom's house :-o Anyways, I'm off to the races and the plant is smelling oh so good. Can't wait.
