I am new to this site i have 6 cheese plants wich are in flower (4th week) a couple of weeks ago my lights were closer to my plants and i stated to notice loads of leaves were starting to turn yellow and die i put this as the lights being to low and the heat above the plants was very high.. I've moved the lights up and got more fans in the room to keep the temputre down (in-till i can afford a air-con unit) no more leaves turned yellow so i cut off the yellow leaves and the problem seemed to stop. now 2 weeks on im starting to get the same problem is it nurt burns or is it more to do with the heat in the room? temp stays around 30-34c pictures should help you..

many thanx

Doesn't look like burn from heat to me... What is your feeding and watering schedule? (when and what)

This resembles boron deficiency, but that's pretty rare and strikes at new growth first. And I suppose you're using tap water which has boron.

It's heat burn. The burns are localized, not widespread, and don't start at the top, bottom or at the new growth of the plant, so it's not a nute problem.

Judging by your pics, those fans arn't doing the best they can. All 3 are set to cool the bulb, but none of them help move the air and heat around the plants. You should put 1 or even 2 of those fans at level with your plants or even under them.

Simply pushing the hot air around the bulb away won't stop heat formation in your plants. The infrared light from the bulb can heat the leaves up enough to cause heat burn without it being noticeably warm in the room. So reposition those fans.

feeding & water schedule is every couple of days (i watered them yesterday (27/08/09) around 2 pints on each plant will not water them in-till 29th or 30th depending if the soil drys out. i always check that the soil is moist a full finger down if so i leave them intill they are dryed out. I am tryin out different feeds on the plants two use bio-bizz (bio-bloom & topmax) these two are just a little bigger then the rest the other four are on hydrotops grow and bloom added a pic for your selfs to see i have a bluelab nutrient (cf) truncheon to test on the hydrotops and the bio-bizz i am using half measurements (they recommend using 2-5ml per litre i am using 3ml per litre wich is in a 10 litre tank so that 30ml of each feed. water is from a tap the water is very good where i live (uk) Soft water. i leave the water in the room for well over 24hrs before i use it.

That's a very nice watering and feeding schedule. It's clear that it's no deficiency, so reposition 1 or 2 of those fans under or at level with the plants and the problem should not reappear.
