leaves are browning

New to the site, looks awesome and already learned some things. Working on a grow log, but for now help ease my nerves....

I have six soil plants under a t5 for about a month now. I introduced nutirents slowly.
1st water ph 6.1 ppm .091 ( no nutrients but a little bit of clonex root promoter)
2nd water ph 5.1 ppm 180
3rd water ph 6.5 ppm 448
4th water ph 6.2 ppm 702

I have one of the probes that tells you light/moist/ph and it is reading that the ph is around 7, and I am getting leaves turning brown. Is my ph too high, will it correct itself by watering with lower ph water or should I add something to the soil?

I'm guessing the soil is slightly base. and this is what is throwing your pH off. If you have some extra put it a cup and test different pH'd water on it till you find the sweet spot. Also you are getting a little high on your nutes to fast. Nutes only go in every other watering for soil plants.

thanks, no nutes and lower ph next water. i found I'm only watering every week to 5 days, so I got anxious to juice up the babies.

I have them in bags, so I made the holes at the bottom bigger and increased air circulation so maybe the soil drys out more. I'll just see what happens.

when do I consider flushing, is it 3 gallons per gallon container. I have a 3 gallon bag so use about 9 gallons of low ph (5) water. Maybe I'll do one and see what happens...

Update: decreased the amount of water I was giving durring watering, so now I was watering every two days. I went nuts, water, then I used Clearex. It seamed to do the trick, the plants are flowering and they look great!

i have the same problem how did you fix it ? i have the same meter and the ph reads 7 what should i make the water? thanks that leave looks just like one of mine..

johnny, I never flushed or did too much of anything except add clearex to my watering schedule. I use very little nutrients, if it asks for 1 teaspon per gallon and I mix 4 gallons to water and I only add one teaspoon. I keep the ph of my water between 6-7.2.
I'm pretty sure my problem was nutrient lookout. the clearex disolve the nutirients and lowers salts ( or something like that). So I rotate nutrients ( fox farm schedule), water, and water with clearex added. and I pray...
