Rolling is as simple as falling off a log. A handful of years back when my nieces were having a party their friends were trying to roll and couldn't do it. I asked if I could give a try and they laughed at the old man wanting to try something they wrongly assumed he had never done before. I rolled a joint that would rival a Camel or Lucky Strike. I was taught by an old hippie back in about 1968 or 1969 and I've never forgotten how. The more you do it, the easier it gets. Regular or single size papers are the best to use to get an even burn.
If your 'makins' are the right consistency and you have some dexterity in your fingers it is very simple.
What I still can't master is the one handed rolling like can be seen done in old westerns where a cowboy would roll with just one hand. I think that would be impressive to be able to do.

Yea experience helps a ton but I think I wanna learn what to so in certain situations I'm still debating on what grow method is best and I don't Kwan to start a debate here lol

I gave up on trying, some people got it some don't... I just use my pipe much much more easier

You could always get those automatic rollers. They're great to roll some for the day in just a few minutes, if that. But yea, it just takes some practice to roll a nice joint by hand.

yes i was in the same boat as you awhile back too....and i put it off for years....didn't think i could do it....but found a seed in my weed ....and said fuck it im doing it and now ......I'm still going... but that is cool that you want to gain some knowledge first! I don't know about any one Best method ....imo they are all good....especially the one that you do on your own! lol

An easy way to have joints if you can't roll is use the dollar bill trick. I can't roll joints freehand either, but when a joint is a must have (traveling, groups, whatever) the dollar bill trick is foolproof.
I can roll some badass blunts *toot toot* but the joint paper is so damn delicate. I need to smoke a joint while trying to roll a joint just to stay calm...
