It looks like magnesium deficiency to me.

well i checked the bible and the symptoms are quite similar but it says that i should use epsom salts which i have but it is the supermarket type and no store close by has epsom salts designed for plants is it ok to use the one i have? as a foliar spray?

I've used the drug stor epsom salts with pretty good success. You can foliar feed but if it's not too bad just water it in real good. Go easy with it.....I'd start at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon and use it for a few waterings. It won't fix the leaves that are already damaged but it should prevent it from spreading and affecting the newer leaves. Get some cal-mag if you have access to a hydro store. It's great stuff!bongsmilie

its all cal and no mag i will get some of the cal-mag and in the meantime will use the epsom salt as a spray thanks alot i was thinking the same thing but it's allways good to go up on R.I.U and get a 2nd opinion

That's what I thought. Good luck and let us know if that fixes it. :joint::peace:

hey man thats exactly whats wrong with my plant it happened just after i repotted them!!! ill follow your thread now bro hopefully we will get a few good ans :)

80 degrees... is that a reading taken from between the plants and the light or close to it? or is that from somewhere else in the room (ground level, corner, far away from light)... if it's 80 degrees in the room, chances are the temperature between the top of the plants and the light is easily over 90 degrees... meaning that's your answer right there...

If the temperature between the plants and the light is actually 80 degrees than i'd look towards your nutrients and your watering schedule... FFOF soil should be doing you nicely, and you shouldn't see yellow spots, so it has to be something your doing to induce those conditions.. i'm sorry to say it, but you will have to give more information for anyone to correctly diagnose your problem...

from your pictures, i would say it's a combination of high heat, low humidity, and improper use of nutrients if any...

give some close ups of the leaves that are mostly affected... what's your humidity level? how often do you water? how much do you water? do you feed every other watering or every time? how big is your room? do you have proper ventilation?
