DAMNIT! Is their anyone out there who can tell me why my leaf tips are curling down?! I've asked numnerous hydroponic store employees and "experts" at dispensaries and no one can seem to give me any explanation. What are these forums good for, if i cant even get a legitamate answer to any of my posts?

Two reputable people just said you have poor drainage. Did you read your replies? When you water does it take a while to soak in and does it puddle up? If so you have your answer. What soil are you using? If you mixed your own how much perlite did you add?

im using Fox farm ocean forest. There is plenty of pearlite in it already. Normally it does NOT puddle up unless the soil happens to be particularly dry. As with any soil water will puddle up at first if the soil is dry.

fuck! flushing, ph, cutting down on feeding. Tried it and nothing seems to work. what is causing the leave tips to curl down? some of the tips are curled up as well. I guess it must be e genetic thing for this strain. Everytime i do a search, it just turns up forum after forum.. Forums suck. isnt their any definative info on marijuana disorders and growing out there?

ps. whats the deal wih the 'edit post' limitations on rollitup?!

somebody mentioned adding pearlite to the soil. Just curious, but how exactly does one add pearlite to the soil when there is a plant with a sensitive root system already growing in it? What, just throw it on the surface of the soil? Yeah that might work...Psych!!!

I also put a 2 inch layer of perlite in the bottom of the pots for better drainage and 4 bags of ocean forest to 3/4 of a big bag of perlite. Although sometimes the tips still curl down I think it may be due to inconsistent watering (not around the same time daily) I just joined this site hope this helped. ;)

Wow yousername. Relax, at least it's not downs syndrome. RIU is solid enough. I have had trouble with foxfarm holding too much water at times, so listen to them folks. Sometimes your plants show symptoms and you don't know what it is. Flush your plants with clean water, and some peroxide or enzymes or whatever you like for that sort of thing, and start over with a clean slate and go sip on some hateraid, you're starting to perspire. It's not a good look.

I already flushed. ive tried just about everything. I just need to find a website or source with concrete info on problems one might encounter when growing and how to fix them. Too many forums.

first off just want to say you display some aggressive, unpleasant, and somewhat frustrated behavior. You should realize when people post a response to your question, they are making an attempt you help you, a complete stranger, and to get get frustrated with them because you feel their answer is not correct because you may have already tried it and it hasnt worked or you feel that it isn't 'concrete'

The reason people may not always be able to solve your problem is because there are so many variables in growing cannabis, its like where do we began on what could possibly be going wrong..

With that being said, you have said you have tried everything, so im quite sure there is nothing i can tell you to try, that you havent already done so.

Although, i do feel that you shouldnt have any stunted growth due to slight cupping curling up and down as long as it doesnt progress any further then the tips and doesnt discolor.

I do hope someone with this problem may be able to lend some knowledge, but just know it comes down to figuring out how to communicate to your plants and sometimes you have to change everything and one at a time bring one variable into the equation at a time and see when the problem arises.

Good luck
