i try to keep the temp at 60 but being summer here and no AC some times it gets up to like 75. I only water when i think the pots are dry ( going off the weight ) and the plants are almost touching the lights but i only have cfl's so there isnt much heat coming off them

Yeah 60 is like 15 deg C, which is well below average room temperature (usually 20C/68F+). I'd say you're better off at the 75 mark... If only I could get my temp that low :(

60 is too low for your plant. Get some fresh air moving around in their and keep your grow room around 74. My veg room is at 74 - 78 lights on. 68 - 70 lights off. Move your plant, and put your hand underneath your lights. Hold it there for a bit, if it gets to hot for your hand, it is too hot for your lady. Have a fan in there so you do not get any hot spots. What are you using for soil ?

Either I am blind or I can barely see a stem. I would invest in a 150hps and you would be happier with the results :D Plant looks stressed. How hot is your soil? Any nutrients.? What is your Ph? chlorinated water? Relative humidity?

I am guessing he is using a hot medium for his young girl. Temps are too cold. If they are 60 lights on, how cold does it get when the are off? As well the Ph is wrong, just by saying 75 degrees is too hot. Thats ideal, if not a few higher. Let it have a no more then a 10 degree range and you will be prime ! If you follow basic growing techniques to the T ! Good luck bro :D

ok i had 4 plants now im down to one i picked the one i thought looked best and killed the rest because i have to move house soon and didnt realy wanna have friends and stuff coming over for the tour of the house and finding my plants so after stuff cools down again ill grow some more but till then this 1 will keep me happy . this plant dosnt have the problem the others did but i would still like to know what it was so i can avoid it at a later time

I am growing in dirt its like a seed raising mix not sure on the brand as i have thrown out the bag with perlite mixed in (drains very well )

I dont think the light was burning the plants as i could hold the globes after they had been on 18 hours with no dicomfort

There are 2 fans one small one blowing hot air out and a bigger fan blowing air on the plants

As for not being able to see stems the stems are pretty thick i think it was just the pics as i used my phone to take them

I do not use nuts yet

and the temp in my room when i look now is right on 75 and dont think it would drop much when the lights go off because as i said its summer here atm and its frigging hot

all in all the plant that i have kept seems to be loving the bigger pot and looks to be thriving so for now all good just hope it wont happen to this plant

I use my nuts all of the time, but thats just me! Good thing if you aren't using nutes, however. You dont know what "dirt" you ised, and you started your grow while you are about to move . . .

The move wasnt planed just kinda came up as a last min offer that is pretty hard to say no to and the dirt was just a seed raising mix from the local store i just cant remember the brand ( also im not in the US so the brand is prob irrelevant anyway )

Brand? does the soil contain lots of nutrients or little to no nutrients. Might as well just set it up when your stable and do it perfectly. Follow the grow faq to the tee. And you will not go wrong :D
