So i over fed my girls and got nute burn so i slowed it down to just water and cal mag so why are my leaves turning pink? Its a white rhino hybrid 90% indica 10% sativa i use a 250watt hps and my light cycle is 18-6 my heat at the top of the plant is 75-80 and bottom is 70-75 she about 8inchs any reason they should be turning pink?

Give it a nice saturation, let it dry out fully, then give it a half dose feeding with proper ph'ed water. Cut your heat down to about 70-75max under your canopy.

Can be P def. but most likely just a trait of your strain. If everything looks healthy and is growing at a decent rate, red/purple stems isn't normally a problem. If you see reddish stems, AND your new growth is small / stunted and twisted, AND you see slowed/stunted growth overall, it might be something to worry about. Sometimes low temps can display signs/symptoms of phosphorus def. because it's harder for the plant to utilize P in low temperatures.

I'm no expert, but I've seen plenty of healthy plants with pinkish/reddish/purple stems.

In addition to cold temps, pH being off can also make P less available.

What are your temps like at the root zone? You said at the "bottom" but I'm not sure if you mean the base of the plant or at the base of your pot or what. it sounds like you got your temps in check, so like Dia was hinting at it might be a pH issue...or also it could just be nothing :D

I need to get a soil temperature but at the base of the pot planter is 70 and my ph is always 6.5 and my soil is the same as i test the run off its alil higher but not by much

The pink-purple stems in my case were initially definitely caused by too cold night temps. Couple of nights in the 50s will do that. Usually get it more with the plant closest to the intake. I do have a couple of plants that have nearly dark purple stems that do worry me a little as those also have a bit faded leaves so clearly indicates nute uptake probs.

What Satived said plus the others.

I am unsure whats in the orange bag but guessing base nutrients or drainage i.e. perlite.

I am going into soiless next, we have little in the way of sunshine mix in the Uk

I agree with less phos i tested soil and it was way high

Doesn't anybody else see a lighter green to those leaves.

IMO soiless mediums should be fed almost instantly.

I pop seeds in a 0.5EC nute mix precharging my soiless medium (coco).

For the best I think a whole plant pic, affected leaves picture and in natural light to allow us to see the depth of green to your leaves.

I think an under feeding issue.

But that's just me.
