It looks like a P.h issue, are you using a tester?

no its not mites. I figured it out with the help of roseman. It was the ph and the humidity.

Humidity being to high or too low?

the humidity was too low, in the 30's. My ph was also way out of wack, being too low in the 4's

Corrected the ph and Humididty and the problem is gone!Hooray!
