leaf problems (pics) 3wks flowering

Hi everyone,

This is my third attempt at growing so i am a complete beginner. Basically i switched the lights just over a month ago with flowers appearing after about 10 days so i think ive been flowering for 3 weeks.

I am growing 2 big bhudda cheese orginals in soil (b&q multipurpose super enriched - about 45litres between the two) in a cupboard in my room. Temperature is roughly 25-30 degrees c and although i have a damp problem in my room, the dehumidifier is always on (right near the cupboard) and i have set it to about 50%. Unfortunatly both plants are sharing a plastic growing box about 600x350x350mm (realise now two pots would be better)

Halfway thru vegging i started feeding with canna terra vega (about 5ml per 2litres) and switched to canna tera flores (again 5ml per 2litres)

Ive notcied that many of the lower leaves (shielded from the light by the canopy) are beginning to show real signs of P deficiency (downward curling with tips going dark brown/black - they arent dry to the touch - feels like moist toilet paper) , even tho i am using a bloom fert. Another concurrent problem is upper/middle fan leaves and some smaller ones are develloping orange/rusty/brown veins which eventually spreads all over the leaf and causes it to shrivel and dry up.

Alot of the leaves at the top of the plant have ever so slightly burnt tips which makes me feel like i am over ferting, but the lower leaves going black looks like a P deficiency.

Another thing i should mention is that due to their size i had to break through the base of my cupboard to gain an extra foot or so, and i lined the carpet with about 3inches of flattened plastic bags to save the carpet, but i think that this may have blocked some of my drainage holes because the soil takes AGES to dry out properly - probably up to 2 weeks... im worried i could be facing root rot - so what symptoms would the plant show for this?

before all this happened i was ferting every water (2 litres about 2-3 times a week) But now ive stopped for about a week or so to see if that helps at all - and also because i am worried about my drainage and i want to see that soil crackle up and get some air down there.

Ive included two pictures of each leaf problem. the first two show the orange viens and the curling/drying of upper/middle leaves and the second shows downward curling and blackening of tips but no drying out.

I would appreciate any feedback at all no matter how unsure you are since i am literally tearing my hair out - ive tried growing three times and each time this happened so i didnt bother seeing it through! This time it doesnt seem to be affecting the buds tho - will hopefully have something to smoke after a year of just watching em die!

Thanks to all and what a great forum. peace with extra cheese

oops - forgot to talk about the light - it is an envirolite 200W and i switched from blue to red at the same time as i went into 12/12 (was on 22/2 before) cheeeeers

I have had similar problems in vegging as I have not yet flowered but the issue was overcome by a simple flush and then re-introducing nutrients @ 1/4 strength. Hope this helps

yea - i was thinking about that but the only thing holding me back atm is further risk of root rot - the ladies are too big to come out of the cupboard and i cant get access to the bottom of the box to plug in some more holes so i am scared i will drown them! Gonna give it a go if all else fails

so does anyone know what i am risking with root rot and what the superficial symptoms are? I cant really look at the roots without destroying a big portion of the root system (by digging down to the roots right at the bottom of the pot) - are my problems synonymous with root rot or do i have concurrent issues here? Really really want to get it right!
