Leaf problems any advice

Looks to me like thrips or some kind of pest eating the leaf surface. Maybe use a magnifier of some kind to see if there are any bugs or what type of bug. I use insecticide for preventative even when I don't have apparent issues. Good luck!
could you please tell me what you do/use as a preventative? have you had any pest problems at all since you started with the preventatives?

I had spider mites for the first time last spring randomly on my plants indoors, little fuckers were terrible, since then I bleach my tent in between grows, I use 3 sprays at the moment. 1 different one every week. I use axamax, power wash, and Monterey insecticide soap, apparently some bugs, (especially mites) will grow immune to the use of just one product. I have not had any mites or problems since. After having such a bad experience Il never let my guard down again.
