Hello my fellow cultivators,
Recently I started some fat little indicas, so far 4" tall but 9" wide making them little bushes. The leaves on a few plants have their leaves curled up as you will see in the photos attached. The nutrients seem balanced, just this weird leaf curl that I can't relate to heat stress because my temp gauges say that its between 76-79 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, I have a overhead fan circulating air and a mini turbo fan directed between the lights and the plants, so I doubt if heat is a problem. Last harvest I grew the same strain and this same problem happened, but only happened during the first several weeks and slowly went away.
Now, I know I will get plenty of questions about media, temps etc...
-soil mix (45% compost, 45% sphagnum peat moss, 10% perlite)
pH~6.8-7.2
-temp ~75-80 F humidity (relative) ~45-60%
-three weeks from seed
-24/7 cycle
-Using two 150 watt high pressure sodium systems
I just gave it the first dose of fertilizer: 1/2 strength Age Old Organics (Grow)
as a sub note, my fertilizer is 5 years old. Is that too old?
