Leaf color uniformity: is this normal? (pics)

Is this normal? The leaves have a range of colors as seen in the pics below.
First grow, so I’m not sure if the color irregularities are normal. I’ve been alternating water and nutes, and no more than every other day. These plants are 31 days old. The leaf color doesn’t seem to have any uniformity. Any ideas?

400W Metal Halide + 3ea: T5 46" Fixtures, each with 4 bulbs (6500k)
Soil: Scotts + peat & Perlite
Nutes: Hesi Soil at half strength to this point
Seeds: (4) KC Brains Spontanica, (4) G13 Power Skunk
800W ceramic heater to keep temps above 70 degrees F + humidifier

what kinda nutes are you using? you may be getting the beginig of a nut defciency, nitrogen or potasium not wholely sure. nitrogen is more likely as your still veging.

Have been using HESI nutes:

  • TNT Complex NPK: 6-2-4
  • Root Complex
  • Hesi Super Vit

it could be time to up the dosage those nutes are super strong, and if you have been goin half strength even weaker. also the leaves are curling up onto themselves, lots of times they do this to disipate heat. how hot does it with lights on. not sure that that could cause discoloration though. your plants dont look bad at all though

I think you may be right about upping to full strength on the nutes. I have been cautious because I didn't want to get any nute burn, so we'll go to full strength and see what happens.

The plants were a bit too close to the lights, roughly 8" away from 400w MH. But the surface temperature of the top leaves never got above 88 degrees. I dropped the plants down to 20" from the light and they are looking much better.
