Leaf Browning During Flowering?

Hey all i have looked at most of the threads before posting here and i have couple questions. My friend has a plant that seemed to be hermaphrodite and now doesnt appear to be. It does appear to have impregnated itself on its lower branches as there are seeds.
However it has been on 12/12 for about a week now and is showing signs of buds. But the new problem appears to be browning of the lower to middle leaves. He has clipped off most of the browning leaves but more and more appear to be browning around the edges. The top seems to be quite healthy but the bottom is having problems. I have a couple pictures but i dont know a good place to upload them to show here. It has been real hot and a little bit inconsistent with its watering cycle... Should the plant be fine?

Im sure things aren't perfect nutrient -wise, but for an outside plant, its not bad at all

HELL YES, now is when they need it the most. Go to the depot, get scotts potting soil and some bloom fertilizer. you need to flush when switch those nutes to get rid of the old veg nutes that will cause an imbalance in the flower nutes

make sure you dont over do it. play it safe with how much you add. always better to do a little nutes than a lot. too much results in yellowing of leves from the new growth(iniside of the leaf). if you dont flush then, you will get root rot, which kills the plant
