Lateral SCROG

Hi all,

I just wanted to see if I understand things correctly and if you agree with my thought process.

I am growing White Widow (feminized) right now and plan to try my first SCROG. She just reached 12" so its time to put my screen in place but I thinking I would top her right now to encourage lateral growth. The reason I'm concerned with lateral growth is the screen I will be using will be 4.5' x 2' so I need the plant to grow into the rectangle. (BTW I thought I would try to clone the top I cut off )

Does all this make sense?

Everything you said should work exactly as you have described it. As long as you understand the process. happy growing!

you can either keep it growing on 1 branch have have that stay under the screen, or you can top/fim the main stem and get more branches
