Landslide

wow.
So up here we had a tid bit of a massive ice storm.
I've had no power for 5 days - and things have gotten really interesting.

But yeah. we got a wicked ice storm, and had no power in the house until like 12 hours ago.... I'm like, without light - im fucked. plain and simple. So two days went buy with no light (sitting on window sill, but toooooooo cold, ambient room temp is like 45*).
So i put my brain to use (rarely do this), and started thinking. So i grabbed my power inverter(12vdx to 120vac), my beefy ass battery (optima yellow top) and a power strip. Hooked my timer up to the invertor, and the strip into the timer, and connected the lights and my fans (lol @ how fans run on 12v and im going from 12->120v and back to 12v...). All went fine for about 8 hours - untill the battery reached about 9.8 volts..... so then i had to hook the battery back up to the car to charge for an hour, to last the rest of the day. Well that worked for 2 days, untill my timer went bad. Well. what i thought was my timer. (sat in dark for about 36 hours or so)
So after finally getting power back, i plugged my timer in, to find out it went bad. And so didnt two of my bulbs. and so didnt the fans........
So after running down to radio shack i picked up another invertor for the fans - and more bulbs.....
Shitty part is, i totally lost control of keeping them short and stocky...... The one just shot up like 3 inches. The other one remained about the same size....
I think im going to put them back on 24/0 for a few days so they can reveg what they lost... Idk though (opinions??????????? get back on 12/12 or reveg????).
Note: didnt change much ( V )
