Lacking space, exhaust at the bottom of cab?

I'm low on space in my cabinet build and i have 4" extraction fan and carbon filter, theres not enough room at the top without my light being too low so would it be a problem if i had my carbon filter and fan at the bottom of my cab? would this mean i need the intake from the top now? or would this just not be a good idea?

It would work, but not be as efficient considering heat rises.

Even with your inline up top, maybe get a small oscillating clip fan and point it down from the corner and get that hot air to circulate better

Could you run some flexible tubing or something and run it up the corner so that your bottom exhaust still pulls air from the top of the chamber?

Awesome idea, but I'd just build a bigger room.

Same but gotta work with what you're given. I totally get being cramped for space.

Yeah, true to that. But if a person knows ahead of time that space is a limitation, a good idea would be to pick a strain that doesn't grow tall.

True that. My favorite is my purple kush. It's stinky as hell, but the plant loves to be trained into a short bush.

Thanks guys for all the responses, ended up just putting it at the top, a little less space but I've arranged everything nicely so its still looking smart.

Looks like you got it fixed, but you could put the fan outside and keep just the filter in the cab.
