Sup everyone! So lately Ive been wanting to try some autoflower strains. After educating myself a bit I think Im ready to give it a go. So I picked up some La Diva :leaf: and they finally came in a few days ago. I have been germinating 5 seeds for about a day and a half now. When i woke up this morning one seed had cracked open and the taproot is about a quarter inch long... Hopefully more will crack open soon. Im planning on planting that one when i get home from work later today. I will be placing her directly into a 3 gallon smart pot using sunshine mix #4 and a little roots organic soil (about a 80/20 mix).

For my set up this grow, I will be using a 2x4 grow tent and experimenting with six 4ft litro flourecent bulbs (recomended by my local hydro shop). The nutes that will be used will be Pure Blend Pro grow and bloom with Liquid Karma and Sweets Carbo Berry. When the time comes, I will start with a 1/8 strength nutes and work up from there.

Im looking forward to this grow and would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. Constructive criticism is alway welcomed as well.

I will be updating this thread almost daily and posting pictures every weekend once it starts.

Alohaz...;-)

hiyea this is Ruby...shes is a La Diva, she is 55 to 60 days old..I grew her under a 2 foot x 2 foot little Flourecent T5 setup. She has been trouble free. My only suggestion would be not to bury the seed any deeper than you being able to see the top of the seed. :-PIMG_2357.jpgIMG_2359.jpgIMG_2361.jpg

Looking good there bobhoop. Cant wait for my girls to get there. I will be taking yours and raidermans advice on seed depth. I was thinking about 1/4 inch anyway. just enough to cover the seed... Im hoping to pot her when i get off of work this evening. Hopefully the rest of my seeds have opened up. would be nice to plant them all today. Ill check out your grows to see what i can expect from this strain.

alohaz!!!

Hey guys just curious but.... what kind of a yield do you think u might expect from one plant. I know it depends on many variables but on average what could you expect... Im hoping to get atleast 28g per plant or close to it. Is it a realistic goal or just wishful thinking...

I dont really know... The big cola is pretty heavy, but I dont know what dry weight will be. Im guessing a little less than a ounce. I did see a guy that had a la diva with around 6 main colas. His was huge, im guessing he was using HID. My lighting is on 24/7 so it must be better lighting.

lol... make ornaments with diffrent budz in clear resin or something of the sort may be a cool idea... hmmm im thinking about trying it now... That La Diva is looking good btw. Interested in what kind of yield you get...

So anyways, the last seed cracked open the morning with a litte root tip. should be ready to plant when i get off from work today. That makes germinating the La Diva seeds 5 for 5 (100% Germinating rate). Still waiting on the first 4 to break ground. Nothing as of yet but it hasnt even been 24 hours yet. Already getting impatient. lol. I will start taking pictures as soon as they sprout.

So just a quick update.... i planted my last seed today when i got home from work. All five are now potted in 3 gal smart pots. One of the seeds that were planted yesterday sprouted. Its about a half inch tall with the shell still attached. Gonna let it go for now. Dont really wanna touch it if i dont have to. Other than that everything else is just peachy....

All five are now sprouted. Im really impressed on how quickly this strain has grown so far. Two seedlings have shed their shell casing and are looking pretty good. Will take some pics later...
