LA Confidential and Chocolope are our two most famous strains. Combining them is probably the most requested cross and most genius idea we ever came up with which resulted in… LA Chocolat - the cream of the crop, the best of the best, DNA’s top two strains combined! LA Chocolat has made improvements to both parents in this cross, the Chocolope gains the power of the LA Confidential and the LA gains the yields of the Chocolope. LA Chocolat gives you one strong medicinal hybrid that has high calyx to leaf ratio, early flower times and buds that taste like fruity, earthy, chocolate. The flower time is 8 weeks making it commercially viable, grows great indoors or for a quick finish outdoors and because the original LA structure is small it stops the stretch from the Chocolope so there is no need to pinch or top. LA Chocolat is a good strain to relieve pain and also great appetite stimulator for cancer and chemotherapy patients

should I top my LAC? what doe they mean by no need to?

I want the highest yiled possible, what should I do? she has about 3 nodes
 
Well Chocolope grows like a huge spider plant. And if you don't do plant training it can easily dominate your flower space. In their opinion if it is a beautiful marriage of two great strains therefore the la con in theory would slow down the stretch that chocolope is known for while growing. I have done both but still have not cracked my la choclat freebie. I topped and lstd both of those strains with good results. I would assume top and lst would work with the same if not better results.
 
I have 2x LA Woman (martian mean green x LA Confidential) goin right now. If LA Chocolat grows anything like them, then I would suggest LST... I LST'd one & grew the other one untouched. This is not my first time growin it, but it is my first time LSTing one. I will tell u, I am 4 wks in and the plant that was LST'd has 5 main colas ALL the same size. Comparing the 2 plants, it looks as though I will b getting 5x the yield off of the LSTd plant.
 
lol so I should LST all my plants? I have one that is doing really good, has 3 nodes the 4th is coming in nicely, almost a shame to top her but it's got to be done!

You won't get 5x the yield, but you will increase your yield. Each of those 5 colas will be smaller than if it were 1 main cola.

Typically i would agree with you, but it could be the genetics, or it could be because I am only 4 weeks in - as of right now, my single stalked LA woman's cola is = in size to the 5 colas on my LSTd plant. Obviously I cant make an exact statement regarding yield until they r finished, but at this point, astetically speaking, the colas are the same size
