Knowledgable nutrient wiz needed!

Okay before I get criticism posts from each member, I'm going to already admit that I know MG isn't the best fertilizer. But, its cheap easily obtainable and I have had decent success with it in the past.

With that being said I have a question. I purchased some MG shake n' feed Ultra Bloom from the hardware store in hopes that I could put it in my plants soil so I would't have to go back weekly and water. Gas is expensive and guerrilla growing in a city is risky enough let alone revisiting on a weekly schedule.

Here's my problem I didn't realize that the package said for in ground plant use..

Considering mine are in pots do I render the shake and feed ultra bloom useless. And have to make the risky visits or is there a way I can maybe lessen the dosage so that there is minimal build up, but the plant still gets feed?

Has anybody used this in their pots or am I the only idiot who didn't read the whole label!

I saw shake n feed every 3 months ultra bloom and i was sold lol wasn't until I got home and read the complete labelling that i realized I might be in some trouble.

Mix in 1 gallon of water 1/4 nutrients. I have heard some major nute problems with that stuff.its very easy to over fertilize and burn up ur crop. if used right MG can work well. But not the best. Happy growing :weed:

You might have some runoff but the risk with MG is burning so you are fine, really. Just use the regular dose.

Btw, you really should put them in the ground or visit more often. Pots dry out quick and you are sure to come back to some dead plants if you leave them on their own in any drought conditions.
