Does any one out their have any top notch liquid organic flowering nutes they would recommend that I could do some research on? This is my first grow and I dont know which brands are GOOD and which are just hype. Just need some reputable options for me to choose from and do reaserch on to decide which is right for my plants. I'm growin Jack The Ripper and SuperSkunk in FFOF soil. Thanks for any suggestions!

PK 13/14 or Super Thrive...

i dont think i consider superthrive a nute, i only use it if i am trying to clone, otherwise i think its just a plant killer or it wont do anything at all dont waste money on superthrive, its more like super shit

see this is my problem, cant get a straight answer. I appreciate yalls help dont get me wrong, but as soon as someone suggests something, someone else shoots it down. I guess to each his own, just lookin for some that have a good track record then I'll pick the right one for my plants.

we all gave straigh answers, so u want organic right trie a post in the organics section, and every one has differnet opinions on everything, and what works for some people doesnt work for other, same with nutes it may work good for some but others it doesnt, so what is your specific question if its whats a good organic nute go to google type in good organic nutes for marijauna and read the reaveiws

No offense taken at all, I told to check out Shrubs grow and the Humbolt line he uses, but could not stand by when some throws out superthrive as a nute (it's not)

If your new and truely want to go organic then Shrubs is a grower to follow, he has a degree in horticulture and knows his shit

Me I like chemicals but like you said it's to each his own

If you understood plant nutrition, the value of NPK and micros and how they interrelate, then this wouldn't be a problem for you. There's alot of crap advise around here, you must wade thru it. Buy a good book like Mel Franks Growers Guide or stay away from cannabis forums and get involved in a regular gardening forum. You'll no doubt end up like most, trying something based on a fancy label or recommendation, not understanding what makes a plant tick or plant nutritional requirements, and fail.

Having said that, use a high N food for veg, use a 1-3-2 ratio for flowering and switch back to a high N food if you see any lower leaf drop, stunting, yellowing. Organics are useless unless they contain chemicals (salts) or can be converted into such. You really don't know what you're getting with "organic" products.

Hit my name, check out my posts. I have posted alot about plant nutrition.

Good luck,
UB

Thanks for the reply UB!
Like I said, I'm new to the game. Just wanted to know some reputable choices mainly to avoid buying a product that is all hype and no substance. I realize I dont know as much as alot of the growers on here but I gotta get started somewhere and I'm a hands on learner. I have to do it, to understand it. So that was the main reason for my asking people that have been down this road before, dont want to be a noob forever! :bigjoint:

@Unle Ben

A while back, a buddy gave me a bunch of grow guides on a thumb drive. I got preoccupied and forgot about them. You post reminded me to grab the thumb drive and have a peek. Sure enough the 1st book on the list is the 1992 edition of the Marijuana Grower's Guide. Looks like I have research to do :) + rep for the recommendation.

So, you use superthrive to clone but then say don't waste your money on it because it's "super shit"

Sound's fishy.

I think this is what OP said when he meant, if you ask a question you get conflicting advice. Asking what nutes are best is a bit like asking how much is a blue car. It's vague and depends on your level of skill, budget, what the bud is used for (profit, personal recreation or medical) and numerous other things. Some people will swear Advanced or Fox Farm is the best, others would laugh at the clerk if they were offered as a suggestion. Others would laugh at you for using nutes at all. I am not paying tons of money for FF or AN personally, My 1st indoor will be a combo 1/2 will get Jack's Classic (veg) and Jack's Classic Bloom Booster (bud) and 1/2 will get Dyna Gro Hi-N-Pro (veg) and Dyna Gro Bloom (bud), I may even throw in an unfertilized plant to compare. I may even offer some of my medial patient friends samples so they may put in their 2 cents. But one thing I will never do is become complacent in growing (not until I find what works best for me), I will always read and try suggestions from gardeners more knowledgeable than myself.
