I've been gone for about 3 days and came home and on two of my plants there is knots just like what you would find on some trees one plant has two and the other has one they are about 2-3 1/2 inches from the bottom. it is an in ground outdoor grow. Could the soil have just been very compact and caused the plants to root bound and then break free (sidenote- they have dramatically grown in size in the past few weeks as before they were growing very slow. they are kaya (sativa) about 2 feet tall each.
