I have been growing for almost two years. I have two rooms going for flower and veg. I know how to grow marijuana, i know the basics and i have grown very very good marijuana. BUT it seems like i should definitely be getting a bigger harvest.

I budded 3 big old green crack plants that we were using for moms and got about an ounce per plant, WITHOUT CO2.

We have similar plants in now and we have added CO2 but they do not look like they are doing any better, possibly even worse. 2 plants under a 600w light should be killin it i would think!!

SO HOW CAN I REALISTICALLY GET A NICE YIELD? HOW DO PEOPLE GET 2 OR 3 OUNCES PER PLANT? we have been using fox farm 3 pack, big bud, sweet, mollasas, hygrozyme, and some mychorizae fungi. We are about to run out of nutes and pick a new line to go with but what can we do? i know what i am doing but how can i get the most out of my next harvest? p.s. my next harvest is a 600w stadium grow, and the girls looks fantastic so far i want them to dominate!!! HELP!!

it realy depends on how long you veg, how bush is she. what you do b4 flower. many diffrent varyables. to get big yeilds.

ok well that is good to know. right now we are vegging under and 8 bulb T-5 fixture. The local hydro store says they recommend it all day over 400w hps, so we went with that but its fairly new. So the other plants were getting kinda sic from coldness before we put them in the budding area to warm up and end theyre lives but they didnt look too bad, they just kept kinda slowly getting worse through budding. w/ the t-5 its weird, i notice the middles of the plants have all kinds of growth, lie instead of using all the energy to go upward the plants just get all kinds of middle growth that looks kinda wound up until the plants start to stretch out. i dont now exactly how long most of them have been under that light cause theyre at different times. atleast a month at very minimum. any recommendations for good vegging carry on into budding?

nice size pots lots of perlite nice lite soil mix .. your nutes should be fine .. what are your temps? to hot to cold ? light proximity dont over water . i normaly get 1.5 oz + per auto flowering plant in 8 gallon pots i use clones .. and people says autos are no good lol i just harvested and its some sweet smoke anyways.. trick is lots of good healty roots down below and lots of light about i normaly grow from 4-6 plants use a 1000 hps vented hood i could probably get 4-5 ounces or more if not using auto flowering strain .. i just got some seedmands white widow seeds and some power skunk seedsin the mail yummy ..

well the girls closest to flowering are in 5 gallons but the next generation thats a couple weeks behind them are in 2+3 gallon bags, but im not quite sure how much to expect off of them, they are growing stadium style. My temps are a little low i guess, veg is maybe 65-80, depending on the temp outside. Flowering is probably 60-75 degrees. For the stadium grow, the ones in the 2 gallons seem to look better than the 3 gallons which are bigger plants. So i thought i wanted them big for budding but maybe if they are smaller they have more energy for bud growth? does anyone know anything about this, im not sure what size bag to stick with.

good rule of thumb for pot sizes are, a gallon per foot of plant you want to finish with, or a gallon per month you plan to keep the plant alive for, say you vegg for 2 months and you know your gonna flower atleast 2 months, 3-5gallon would be perfect, if your gonna flower a smaller plant for sog 1 gallon works great

Start with a Big rooted Haze cutting; put er in a 4 gallon pot for a few weeks then progress em on up. bigger the pot and veg time; the bigger the plant. :peace:

Lots of light, big pot, great strain, lots of veg and knowing what you are doing equals big plants. Since the laws in my state allowed me to grow 4 plants back when, I would veg for 2 months under a 1000 watt light and ave 7.5 ounces per plant with very happy plants coming in at 9 oz's.
