KneeCap's 2nd Medical Card Grow...2011 Calendar

Big highlight: Seed crop planted. These seeds were seeds from a bag of the bightest green rego's I've seen in like five years. The buds were bright green and heavy with trichones. In fact, they were heavy in general, looking like a bag of jumbo shrimp. I steamed out a bud to get a look at the leaves. Sure enough, so fat they were round. Pure indica, probably from Mexico, but it is likely they were grown in Mi or KY or TN, the emerald triangle of outdoor growth on the east coast. I ran these mother plants for 3 months, they did well for a hash plant, which is what the taste of the rego version of this bud resembled ALREADY. Whoever did grow the originals didn' manacure them at all. The leaves weren't overwhelming on the buds, rare in the case of indica, but not true for all hash plants. Check Grow Journal for Year 2 Crop 3 for updates on that.

Here's three threads. Crop 1-3 for the second mm card. Crop 1 and 2 are OG Kush and Apollo 13. Crop 3 will also include a pure indica and Northern Lights. I'm using FoxFarm Ocean forest mainly for veggin', I have some Age Old Organics Grow just in case I need it. For flowering, I have the General Organics line, which is awesome, this is my first grow using it and I must say, its my favorite so far. By the time the plants make it to flowering, the soil is basically inert media. Thats when it becomes almost like growing using a flood to waste type hydro or agro setup, so its not all the way like using soil. This is just because I am on a shoestring budget ATM, but by crop 3, I should be switched over to Bubble Buckets, a new form of hydro that I want to learn. As for Organic vs. Timothy McVey, I always go as Organic as I can afford to do with time and money permitting. To me, non organic is something you have to learn. Organic is something I learned when I grew my first crop over 20 years ago. I think switching to non organic would be a learning process I couldn't afford to do. I hope that clears up this thread, I should've put the link search for my threads at the top, :) Learn something new every day! Its OK because this is just the Proto for the real calendar thread, 2012, when I will make the damn pictures a touch bigger so you can read em ;) Peace, Uncle B

Northern Lights, your favorite Refridgerator and mine! Crop 1 made some moves... it went from clippings to plants in dixie cups...

This calendar is for people to see how to run 3 crops at once and manage mother plants. Without making a calendar, it would be nearly impossible to keep track of each plant's progress. I don't get super technical or getailed on the entires because it is used by me as a quick reference tool rather than a record of hard data.
