Kiwi Humour Appreciation Thread

We Aussies love our New Zealand brothers... we're just glad we're not them.

But seriously, I love Kiwi humour. Admittedly it's not everyone's cup of tea, but then our humour isn't always appreciated by other cultures either. So this thread is to celebrate the sometimes dodgy, and always outrageously silly humour of our Kiwi bros. Feel free to contribute...

Let's kick it off with the kiwi video that stormed YouTube, inspired t-shirt designs, avatars and was the initial inspiration for this thread itself...
The Beached Whale...

Ok then, since that didn't seem to jingle your bells... take a look at 'Bro Town'. This is a cartoon series that follows the life of a bunch of New Zealand kids... I guess it's like the Kiwi version of the Simpsons, or South Park. It's so close to Kiwi life that it's kind of scary... but funny as fuck. It's become a bit of a cult phenomenon around these parts.

Oh, and did you know that God and Jesus are Kiwis? They make regular appearances on the show. :-P

Do yourself a favour and download as many of these episodes as you can find, cook up some fush und chups, then grab a huge bowlful of your preferred weed and enjoy.

Sweet as, bro. :hump:

Come on... how can you guys not love the Kiwis??

How can you not love a bunch of blokes with a football team called the All Blacks? Aaannd... who start each game off by trying to scare their oponents to death. This dance is called the Haka.

This Haka is one of a number of dances used traditionally by the Maori people of New Zealand. Most people think of it as a war dance, but in fact there were different Hakas for different occasions, including celebrations and weddings. Check out the Wiki page. Below is a more traditional dance performed by Maori dancers. Just imagine what you would have thought of these guys coming over the sand dunes if you'd just survived a shipwreck in the late 1700s...

... and just because... well, just because I found this one and laughed...
