has anyone tried Kings plus led? Thinking about buying one. Has great reviews on Amazon. I was looking at the 1000w

Not that particular fixture but I do have one of their 1200. It's basically twice the diodes and 300W. I wouldn't try to illuminate more than 5-6 sqft with the 1000-good for a single decent plant
Another option could be a DIY like this. Cookie pan and 4 F-strips @185W Crushes a 2x3

no links but assuming this is another garbage 200W light for under $200 that they market as being equivalent to 1000W HPS

theres several threads like this every week and the answer is always the same: you get what you pay for, but often less than what you paid for

Trash LEDs are a trashy investment. HPS is way more worth it.
