So my roots keep coming out the bottom and I was gonna switch it to flowering how to I stop the roots from coming out the bottom holes ...

if ur in soil this means she is root bound u need to transplant to a bigger pot

not true. check the soil and see if its root bound or not.. if it isnt dont worry about them. you should see alot of roots.. if root bound

lol how do u figure not true??? and then u go and tell him to check to see if its root bound. when roots cant wrap around the pot no more they will look for more space or if ur plants are really dry on the top half of the soil and wet at the bottem the roots will stretch down till the hit the moisture and start growing out there

I use 3 and 5 gallon “plant warrior pots” that are designed to expose as much air to the roots as possible.
I’ve grown 7 foot plants in 3 gallon pots with tons of roots protruding from the bottom cone. If the roots
dry out, that plant just grows new roots – never an issue.
BTW, a 3 gallon “plant warrior pot” is about equal to a 2 gallon pot.

its not true. my plants have roots all the time out of the bottom. when i flip the pot over to see, it still has plenty of room left. if it was root bound, roots would be everywhere.

This is not true. Your plants tap root will often grow to the bottom of the pot months before you are root bound (pot bound). Once roots reach the holes on the bottom of your pot then they will auto prune themselves. You don't need to worry. When they hit the air and light they know and they will let the plant know that is the limit of the pot and therefore will start growing more horizontally.

Correct. If your plants was root bound (pot bound) then you should be able to carefully put your plants out of their pots with all of the soil coming with them. You will then see a mass of roots that looks almost white with very little soil showing.

so should i transplant this plant it into like a 5 gallon bucket or somthing like that she is in a 1 gallon pot that i cut the bottom out and put it in another 1 gallon pot as a quick fix when i went outta town.. its only 28 dayd into vegging.

Couldn't tell you without looking at it. If you can cut it out and the roots hold the soil mass then go for it.
