I have had a big problem with mites this summer. I have quite the infestation of them actually I have never seen them this bad. Anyways I was just using water with a little dawn and peppermint soap to basically just wash them off the soap is supposes to kill them but didn't really work. I battled them last summer to and was able to beat them with a three part mix. azatrol, montarey with spinosad, and dr broners peppermint soap. It worked really well but then I got a couple of babies from a friend that has a super mite infestation and havent been able to kill them. So I am half way in bloom and the water wasnt doing anything at this point so I came across mighty wash and gave it a whirl and I am glad I did. It does kill them if it touches them so you got to make sure you get the girl really good and wet with the stuff. Its about 40 a gallon small investment to save you so much more then 40 bucks. Great stuff!!

I made my own version of liquidladybug and so far is working wonders. I have tried every other organic thing I could find but this has worked best for me. I too run a tight ship and I got some clones that I should have put into quarantine but didn't and had to fight them off but I'm good now. Recipe for me is:
1 Standard size spray bottle
1 - teaspoon of Peppermint extract
1 - teaspoon of Anise extract
1 - teaspoon of citrus extract
1 - teaspoon of regular olive oil

Fill with water (ph doesnt matter) shake well and spray the underside of the leaves and the lightly the top of the soil
