Killer cloner!

There’s a reason I stay off these forums usually...this is why. I have stated over and over that my way is not the only way. I’ve also stated that I’m not one who follows the KISS rule. I even sourced where I get my info from. This thread was going good up until this troll. People like him dominate these online forums.. why the hell did he even own up my thread if his intention was to tell everyone they are wrong. There is no wrong way of growing imo. Anyway, I’m really liking the aero cloner,..takes out the manual work pretty well

I find it ironic that people who smoke are supposed to be more laid back than the average folk. I find that to be the exact opposite. I do not grow with the theory that less is more. I grow with the theory that the right amount is more. Hence why I’ve switched over from soil to coco. Same reason, I want to help my plants grow. If I didn’t want to help them grow, I would have just stuck with soil and would go grab a bag of miracle grow

KISS is for people who don't like to challenge their abilities, or constantly strive for improvement. There's no end to my tinkering or brainstorming ways to do better :)

If we didn't take risks, we'd all still be living in the stone age, instead of the stoned sge :)

Miracle grow never failed me back in the day ;).

Cloner is doing pretty good. Just wondering at what point should I start to worry about slime buildup etc. I’m betting the first couple runs won’t be an issue, but over time, I’m sure it will. I know about hydrogaurd and stuff but I hope I’m not one of those ppl that need to buy an expensive chiller. My temps are at 83 with 15/15 cycle. But roots are already appearing which is cool. Gonna be cloning some GMO. I’m growing in Humboldts coco, and so far the roots are fucking beautiful. Previous to this, I’ve only grown in quality soil. Anyone considering the switch,...I highly reccomend it if your goal is to improve yields. The roots are so white and robes and healthy (I just transplanted my gmo cutting so that’s why I’m raving about roots right now. Thanks everyone for all the helpful responses. I apologize if I offended anyone or if I “blew up.” If you knew how much time I’ve spent answering unrelated questions and suggestions in my threads, you would realize why I didn’t need take much for me to lose it, again, I’m sorry, but if you’re going to come into my thread and provide information that I’ve never heard of, I’m ether going to want your source, pics, or some form of an explanation, otherwise, you very well will be setting new growers up for failure. People need to stick to the threads in which they want to help

Lmao, I was just waiting for someone to say that haha. I don’t have any personal experience with it but it just looks like garbage, but it would be really intriguing to see the outcome of a miracle grow. Honestly, I never even gave the company a chance, now that I think about it

I couldn’t agree or word it better! Thanks man for looking out. I knew I couldn’t be the only one who likes to see how far they can push their plants before they reach the point of diminishing returns. And props to that pun at the end haha

It’s all we used 40 years ago, not a lot of choice for outdoor grows. I used a lot of composted poo as well, we would get boatloads of cromerant shit from old rookeries in the middle of Lake Ontario and use it as well, great stuff. My brother still uses it on his outdoor plants and honestly it tastes and burns fine. I would be hard pressed now only from what I know about the company that owns it :(.

i realize genetics are the main determining factor in your plants ability, but there is a large spectrum within how well those genetics can do. So I guess what I’m saying is that as far as better genetics keep coming out, people are going to keep upping their grow skills and dialing things in more. The best weed = the best genetics combined with the best assistance,...not the minimal assistance. I’m not writing this upset like I was the other day lol. I really want people to rethink the KISS method and acronym that is thrown around so much.

I’m going on a limb here and am going to guess you were and have been growing larger amounts most your life, I can see where companies like miracle grow could benefit someone or a company who is growing many plants. All my views come from a personal grow (around 6-12 plants), so factors are definitely looked at differently. Thanks for the info though, I never thought about aucccessful miracle grow grows. As one who has had success with miracle grow, you must have had your arguments over the years, trying to defend it lol

No no arguments really lol. A salt is a salt for the most part. To each his own lol. And yes a few pretty big ones in my day. Strictly personal now......mostly lol. I am searching for a new hydro mix, my supplier has kind of went wholesale, I was buying an aqua flakes knockoff for $35 for 2 gallons, I have a gallon left :(.

Damn you were living good. H&g is what I’m changing to currently and it’s running my wallet dry as fudge. But the results are phenomenal so far with my gmo cut. For anyone curious,...gmo stand for garlic, mustard onions. It’s a clone only cut from michigan. Should be the beez neez. And again, a large grow vs a personal grow will definitely have an effect on how you see “what is needed vs what is marketing”

Not worth it

Cannabis specific nutes are more of a
Money maker then a necessity

I now look for the highest quality but cheap :)

And ive used lots of different brands of nutes in the last 15 years :)

I agree somewhat but I did have the best results using HG but would not pay the price. I tried about 10 when I started and I honestly think water make up plays a big roll if not using ro, I had more stability using it and the place I get my nutes from has it (knock off) as well as GH and their own.

Shut this is the wrong place for me to be posting I guess haha. I’ve only head rediculously amazing stuff about h&g. All said and done, it’s still way cheaper than buying weed and way more fun. Plus, I like my nutes and additives,..makes me feel like a scientist

Yo, when did this become about what nutes people are using. Let’s not get off track. I’m sure there are plenty of threads full of people debating nutes

Hey Bud,
Finely made the leap and built me an EZ Cloner. 35 Station. I got a lot of info from this thread, thanks.
Also did lots of reading and talking with folks.
I found that putting weather stripping round the lip stops all leaking. Ran a couple of basil to test it as my plants aren't ready to go into the cloner. It worked great. Have about a week to go before cutting clones.
Will fill the cloner but will only keep 5, the rest will go to a group of vets I work with. Have been helping them for a few yrs with their grows, supplying clones, was growing them in coco, cannabis when I have extra and help them make FECO from their grows.

Thanks for all the inspiration my friend!
