Killer cloner!

Do your clones bend over while the sprayer is off? Once I put my cloner on a 15/15 cycle, I went to tbell and came back to see that they were all flopped over. Previously there were sticking straight up. I figured the pump must have shut off while I was gone. I’ve been running it since for about an hour straight now and they only popped back up half way. I’m thinking I should run the pump 24/7 until first sign of roots. The temp right now is 82.
Sometimes they'll flop over, right after you put them in the cloner. But, they'll pop right back up the next day.

Here's another reason I like bubble cloners over aero. Without a pump in the water, those temps will stay lower.

Mine never went limp with aero but they did with the bubbler

Thats why i stayed with areo.

But i tried the bubbler again and no limpness its ALL. About the water level. Imo

@JSB99S i finally made a journal feel free to pop in buddy.

Not as nice as your get up though :)

Yup and since im in alaska i use the heat :)

But airpumps raise temps too just not as much.

But a big boy air compressor can warm it up imo if the compressor isnt cooled .....
Which i know you cool yours so no worries there :)

No roots no nutes. Nutes should only be added once you have roots if you need to keep them in the cloner for a little longer before going to veg or flower imo.

What are you guys all talking about keeping temps low? Is this to avoid pathogens? Higher temps = faster rooting times imo. Just gotta dose that shit with some H2O2 and crystal clear for weeks.

Thanks for the the useful tips. Just for future knowledge, I’m very comfortable about my cloning methods. I’m more or less asking about the unit. I promise, I know when nutes are needed. If you read through my post, I’m not talked about “needed.” You obviously didn’t even read the original post, your just some dude trying to prove someone else wrong. It ain’t going to happen with me. I live and breath this. Thanks to all the rest who actually attempted the question

You obviously have not received any knowledge from a book. Don’t make crap up just because it’s works for you and then spread it as gospel and tell everyone else they are should quit doing it their way and do it your way. It’s like when people say tap water works. I’m not freaking saying it doesn’t, but this isn’t a seed,..if you can provide it help and know how to without providing it to much help to the point where it burns, then why the hell not. I promise, you aren’t the first person to claim that everyone needs to stops “buying into the marketing” and shit like that

Opinions are great. People that just spread the methods as the only method. That all tap water works. Let me assure all of you, my tap water wouldn’t grow a chia pet,...so it really bothers me when people act like IM stupid for not just using tap water bc they got away with it. I appreciate you trying to help, but you are trying to prove me wrong, and all’s yournproving is that you know dilly squat about hydroponics

Nice meltdown.

Good luck with your grow, hope mum doesnt find it.
Lmao I hope not. I do stuff this way for a reason. That reason is so I can walk away from my grow, not having to wonder if that troll online was correct or not. I’ll stick with my books. You’re a useless troll who can’t back up their false info they just threw up

Now now let's be civil

As i have said YOUR BOTH RIGHT

Tap , nutes for optimum (albeit not for noobs)growth from a scientific stand point.
They both work the same

Wamr temps non warm temps both work

Like soaking seeds vs non soaking
Soaking in kelp vs non ect ect

I love harvey smith too lol.

Different strokes guys lets have peace :)

Well said my man. The great thing about here, for me anyways, is lots of info, some good, some not so lol. I take what I can and leave the rest as it doesn’t pertain to my setup. Sooo Alaska huh lol. Love the place but can’t go there anymore :(, had an unfortunate encounter with your border guys a few years back lol. Fished the Kuijak a couple of times ;).

Ha ha funny most come here looking to get away from the trouble their in eles where :)
I went there to drink, fish and shoot guns. I was “detained” in NY, lost a new Silverado, and had to sell my condo in Florida, it was a small glitch in an otherwise great career lol. There was to many mosquitos and big bears up there anyways, ours are way smaller lol. I like retirement though ;). Now I have time to build shit in my grow room lol.
