Kelvin rating for Walmart Great Value 23 watt CFL?

Yes, I already purchased them however on the box it does not state the kelvin rating. I've tried looking on there website but to no avail. I already tried searching the forums.

well an easy way is to just plug in the bulb and turn it on. if its a blue light it most likely is in the 6500k range and if its orange its around 2700k.

there 3,000.. they assume your noob and want a 'normal' spectrum light

the daylight boxes for the bulbs are typically light blue/white, and will say daylight

The ones I've seen in walmart and home depot usually come in three kinds.

2300k green box soft white * what you want for flowering
3500k red box bright white *a mid spectrum , not really any use for, but acceptable.
5600k blue box daylight * what you want for vegging

those numbers and their name all seem off, eyewtkas

I have all three kinds in my hands right now, shall I scan them?

Here is the website of the products i see in walmart and home depot: n:vision products: energy saving compact fluorescents to meet your lighting needs. - Spiral

Three different colors ... the blue is 5600k for vegging, the green is 2300k for flowering, and their red is a mid spectrum 3500k which is useful for nothing really.

The colors i'm referring to is the color of the package ... NOT the color of the spectrum.

Marijuana needs blue light spectrum (5600k) for vegging, and red light spectrum (2300k) for flowering.

wrong if you bought a dalylight gv cfl its 23w then its a 5000k bulb i know because i own the 4pk of spirals thats the rating and might i add there perfect to start with even end off with besides if you buy a cfl and its k rating is only 2700k or 3000k just add a t- model flou tube which usaully has a wider spectrum and usaully operates at 5000k and you will be good however id use a soft white mini which gives off 2100l but only has a k value of 3000 so id just add a t fixture which would be just enough to flower. Most not all t tubes are rated at 5000k but alot of them are

Hey, can we get a little bit of punctuation please?

Anyway...

I use warm whites and daylights in conjunction with each other in a 2:1 ratio.

Veg - 2 daylight to 1 warm white
Flower - 2 warm white to 1 daylight

This ratio works really well for me.

i use 2 t-5 ge plant bulbs and a slyviania 40w softwhite mini cfl along with another flou t4 gte bulb and everything seems to work well the plant responds well since the addition of the ge tubes growing faster

lol well duh its made by great value and i dont see 2700k anyware on my daylight package along with everyone else i dont see a rating when i looked up info on these bulbs i got 5000k but u can feel free to post a pic of the rating u talkin about so everyone else who has not been able to find it can

All you have to do is look at the bulb and if it looks yellowish/red then its 2700 K if it looks blue then its 5000K - 6500K if it looks neither than its probabaly a cool white or halogen white 3000K-4100K. Its pretty easy actually
