Keif pills

I was going through some old High Times issues i have from back in 02 and i noticed a small article talking about putting your keif into capsules and downing it with a mailkshake. has anybody tried it like this, does it really work? the only other keif pills i have heard of was with coconut oil.

I have usually cooked bud with olive oil for 60 minutes then place in capsules, the results are not consistent, however if you drink a high fat drink, milkshake, or a cup of half and half, I get much higher!

Wouldn't the keif still need to be heated up to properly activate the THC?
