keeping hash moist without it molding?

I have been making dry ice hash, and unless I dry this shit to DUST it ends up molding.

I press it into about 1/4 of an inch and break it up into little sections (pieces are not very big at all). I am trying to get it to a pliable consistency, but every time I've tried I end up getting that white powdery mold on it. New sterile containers and everything.

This time I tried to treat it like bud and used a hygrometer to keep humidity in the jar in check. Not above 70%, mold 24 hours after sealing up.

I see those big ass hand rolled balls that are dark on the outside but a nice golden color on the inside and cant figure out how they dont get mold.

if you want to go old school, and have a nice lump of hi-grade, go Nepali on it and hand rub it to a nice air-proof shiny skin and store it in a cool and dry place. otherwise the fridge and an airtight container and it will last for years and years.btw, nothing wrong with the white mold at all.

There is plenty wrong with mold. It is really bad to smoke it. The Nepali Hashish you are talking about is called Royal Nepalese Temple Balls, highest quality, quite rare even in the early 80 and without mold. Only the lowest quality has mold but it is quite common. Even in producing country the highest quality is difficult to get but never has mold.
