Dogs are cats are both great pets. But neither of them are a great pet if they are on other peoples property. Nobody has a right to let their animal roam freely through the neighborhood, or even into the next door neighbors yard. I have no sympathy for irresponsible pet owners. How would you feel if someone else's cat kept shitting, pissing and digging in your garden? Simple respect, common courtesy, etiquette...whatever you wanna call it, we need more of it.

If you own a pet, keep it on your damn property or don't bitch when it comes home with pellets lodged in it's head (I would never do that....anymore).

Anyway, dogs make a great cat repellant. Mine do anyways...

Children shoot better cause their hands don't shake.

I have 4 neighbours. All four have dogs and sometimes they wonder over to my property. I don't care when they do (unless they shit). A couple have cats that wonder over like my cats do over to theres.
    No big deal really.

Really cheap. A couple of placers for sale on the West coast at the moment for under 40k. Close to world heritage listed growing areas...I mean national parks..

Take water from aquarium use it on plants, put new water in the aquarium for fish, is the routine atm. Well, we still have water in the tap but it is pricey and going up every month.

A small dog will keep them cats away. You can also use a fence and line it with greenhouse plastic 6 ft high the cat will need a really good reason to even try jumping that slippery wall.

i don't know how long it lasts, but...this crazy chick bought some snake repellent crystals, and put them out along the driveway. i have no idea if they work on snakes, but i watched dogs and cats both smell the shit and run away....i asked her where she got it, she said they sell it at walmart, called liquid fence
