keep soil wet in first stage of growing?

is it better to keep the soil really wet in the very first days of growing so the seedling comes out or should i only water the soil when its very dry?

keep it damp but not soaked. best to use a mist bottle to keep the soil damp about 4" around the plant. use this method for the first 2-3 weeks. GL

Wet is never really a good thing.

Moist is a good thing.

really wet and really dry are polar opposites

I sound the using a spray/mist bottle for this.
