Mutants can be interesting to watch and sometimes they can be hyperpotent .. It will most likely have Trilateral branching and if so this can be to your advantage ...
 
That was exactly my concern, PPSnob. I'll take a few cuttings before flowering then, if it's good some good stuff, I couldnt get better genetics for my sog grow! LOL!
 
3 cotyledons? pretty sweet. i would let it grow.

one of my favorite plants in the past was mutant-like. It actually grew out of it's issues after the 3rd-4th gen of clone.

I wonder... will your plant there continue to offer 3 growth sites where most plants offer 2? If so, that is 3 bud sites where most plants would only offer 2... sounds like a possible benefit to me..

It could make for extra fat, extra dense colas... i would think.

Its a tri-folliate or whorled phyllotaxy,don't kill it,my 2nd plant ever grown was one of these,she was a beast,please keep pics updated,hope like hell its fem if not feminized.good luck.
Before editing I said 14g top cola,I must have been cooked from my wake and bake..lol,because that dude was almost 2oz.....lol:)I have pics on good camera but cant download to kindle:(I use cell phone and just text pics to email.sorry.:)

Don't throw it out. You could end up with a great plant. Here is one that has 3 budsites per node, except one branch is growing normally. I even seeded a few buds to see if her babies would carry this tendency. I topped it for four mains, and then when they grew out, it topped itself by splitting into two shoots on each main at about the 5th node. Its a weird one, but it looks very good.
 
I never kill anything that isnt male. Mutant..? Look here at what a mutant did for me in the beginning and in the end...

See, the leaves were fucked up the whole way through the grow, but the Buds? That was a different story, they were wonderful...Soooo you just never know what these things might do.

I think that sums up 95% of politicians, not just romney. However, this isn't the politics section, so i digress.

That's what I'm hoping for one of my plants I have going. It literally didn't even look like a weed plant for the longest time, and it only really started growing well within the last few weeks. I just flipped to flower this morning, so we will see what it gives (if it's a female). I planted regular bagseeds for my first attempt. That's the weirdest plant though. Most of the others are big and really bushy. That one is still only about 6" tall, but has 4 visible budding spots. I'm interested to see what I get from these.
 
Next time it(if)happens to me again I will definitely start cloning:).I took pics of mine but of course lost the phone w/pics,very upsetting:(.Every popcorn bud was at least 1.5g............mmmmmmmmm:).I would like to see how yours finishes(2xM).Do you know sex, all ive seen were females,so maybe.peace
