I got the same freebie. Its mainly sativa? Was it easy to grow? Be sure to do a smoke report
Well it's meant to be mainly sativa but looks no diff than an average indica? I dunno not an expert on telling them apart.
I have got an eye loop and there are lots of cloudy trichs some clear and a few that look pretty much amber.
I usually harvest the cola 1st so you think I'm good to chop this one?
Will deffinately post a detailed smoke report once dried etc, it smells very haze like with fruity fruity undertones.
It wasn't too hard to grow at all just taken it's time to show sex and bud and Finnish, maybe that's a sign of it's sativa dom?

Bro, you don't want to count the trichs.. that has nothing to do with it. Sure, high trich amount can mean higher THC percentages.. but it has nothing to do with knowing when to harvest.
You'll need a way to check the trichs.. to get a close look at them. The trichs are what hold the THC inside them (only a certain kind of trich holds thc though). Bulbulous (spell check please) trichs... are the trichs that have a 'dome like' glass looking ball on the tip of them. Inside the 'dome' is where THC is built up and stored. This is whats responsible for getting you high.
Anyhow, you need to get yourself a jewelers loupe and look at the trichs. The rest I'm going to make you do the research on.. you should already know how to do it.. if you don't know how.

cloudy is perfect mate - that is basically the optimal peak
more amber usually means heavier stone (couch lock).
i usually chop when there;s around 10-20% amber and by then most should be cloudy with possibly a few clear
