Kanna (Sceletium Tortuosum)

I ordered 10 grams of 15x extract Kanna from BBB and can't seem to get much effects out of it.
Has anyone fucked with Kanna before? Any tips?
I've sprinkled it on tobacco and for some reason the joint will become rock solid and un-smokeable. I've also put it on spice (can't smoke weed.. on probation) which is actually smokeable but barely any effects from it. I've snorted it many times, burns like a motherfucker, and I may get a little something more out of it but it's so slight that I'm not even sure.
I've also put it on gum and chewed it.. no effects and disgusting taste..
Only thing I haven't done is mixed it in a drink but from what I've read it takes tons and it's the least effective way.

dont you have to mix canna with weed? i dont know really know much about it, but i think its mainly use as an enhancer for weed, making the weed act stronger or something. maybe mixing it with other herbs like passon flower? dont do this till you can confirm its safe though.
