An hermaphrodite, or hermie, is a Mari-juana plant of one sex that develops the sexual organs of the other sex. Most commonly, a flowering female Mari-juana plant will develop staminate flowers, though the reverse is also true. Primarily male hermaphrodites are not as well recognized only because few growers let their males reach a point of flowering where the pistillate would be expressed. Hermaphrodites are generally viewed with disfavor. First, they will release pollen and ruin a sinsemelia crop, pollinating themselves and all of the other females in the room. Second, the resulting seeds are worthless, because hermaphrodite parents tend to pass on the tendency to their offspring.

Please note that occassionally specious staminate flowers will appear in the last days of flowering of a female Mari-juana plant. These do not drop pollen and their appearance is not considered evidence of deleterious hermaphroditism.

I bought seeds 8 weeks ago and grew white russian regular ( non-fem ). The first two males I found, I immediately destroyed, but for some reason, I kept the last one. After watching it for a few days, all indications were male, pollen sacs hanging, etc. A few days ago I started to notice female flowers in the new growth at the top. My best guess is that this is a genetic male that i stressed, since it has had different treatment than the rest after showing it's sex. I haven't decided what to do with it yet.

As a breeder, i force females to Hermi, to collect pollen for harvesting Feminized seeds. My seeds have never displayed hermi tendencies, all 100% females from start to finish.

Also, At the end of a flowering cycle, it can be common to see a few male flowers develop if left too long.

This is normal. It's genetically writen as a safe guard to carry on it's species. IF no male pollinates a female, MOST will do this over time, to pollinate itself, and seed.

You have some options, just harvest if you see them, it will not have the time to produce seeds.

Or you can collect the pollin sacs and use them to pollinate another female and make your self some fem seeds.

ONLY Genetic hermies, produce hrmi tendencies in the seeds it creates.

Also, a genetic Hermi, will always show male sex FIRST and appear male, The female organs are produced later.
