I can't find it. But it is a statistical fact. It would take me an hour to compile a data timeline on my own. You don't have to believe me, but if you can prove otherwise than I will admit that I'm wrong
hmm.. aren't you the one always saying you need proof? Well, where is it? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

You 2 don't have any proof that I'm wrong otherwise you would have spewed it all over the thread by now. I know liberals better than you all know yourselves.

My posts are not for you or mame or duke or buck or redivider or anybody else who thinks we can tax and spend our way out of deep recession. I'm not trying to convince you of anything Carne, my posts are for other people to see.

Don't get your panties in a twist. I said don't believe me! I could care less simpleton
Yeah, sure.

Tell me, what exactly happens to the economy whenever Obama speaks? You say more jobs just get lost, what about Obama speaking would cause that? It sounds like an awesome talking point, but there has to be causation - do you have any evidence?

ok lets go over each one at at a time.

Obama’s job bill is basically a promise to cut taxes by raising them.
It will increase taxes on corporate jet owners by a total of $3 billion, on capital gains by $18 billion, on oil and gas companies by $40 billion, and on individuals making over $200,000 a year by a total of $400 billion (over ten years)

“Time for the wealthy to pay their fair share.”And the tax on capital gains is nothing less than highway robbery. It will be done by categorizing some capital gains from hedge funds as income, thus allowing them to be taxed (in upper tax brackets) at more than twice the normal 15% tax currently in place for capital gains.

When Barack Obama says his jobs program is paid for that what he really means is you’ve paid for his jobs program. Talked inside his $447 billion jobs program that will put union construction workers back on the job temporarily, and teachers back on the job temporarily, and those of you who were unemployed still unemployed but with more unemployment checks.
It’s become almost comical at this point. In December the president agrees with Republicans that you can’t raise taxes in the middle of a recession. In particular the president then pointed out the fact that it would hurt small businesses. But that was then and this is now and the president is pandering to his union base and somebody has to pay for his union jobs program.

The weekly jobless claims report came out with 428,000 people filing for first time unemployment benefits, which was significantly higher than the 412,000 economists had expected; and, the 414,000 figure from last week was adjusted up to 417,000, according to Rueters.
More important however, as a Bloomberg chart helps to illustrate, is the fact that the 4-week moving average figure rose from 415,500 to 419,500, a distinct upward trend, which began when President Obama began touting his highly-hyped jobs plan

And what is normal for new unemployment claims during a period of 6% unemployment
Do you have a answer?

And what were the number of New Unemployment claims being filed january of 2009 when Obama took office?

The more Obama talks about job creation/raising taxes, the higher the unemployment rate gets....
