I'm not trying to stress about it, but I needed to move my plant from it's original location because I wont be here for a couple of months..

I have someone to care for, it's just that i'm not to sure if "Life Shock" is normal right after transplanting. I dug up plenty of room, so I wouldn't come in contact and damage any roots.

She just looks sad..
Any advice would be grateful. :wall:

If you did not disturb the roots then it should be fine,I also like to give my plants a good watering when i transplant, helps stimulate the roots to search for water:bigjoint:

Appreciate the Advice, but when you normally do it.

Do they droop a lot?

I'm not to worried because the male is the one drooping the fullest. It maybe a hermaphrodite which is why I am mainly concerned, but my Female is not looking as bad.:eyesmoke:

if u jus transplanted within the last 24 hours then they should be fine.. give it a few days she will perk back up.. give it a good watering

well,i let my plants grow in pots until they are to big for them,so when i transplant all i have to do is turn it over tap the sides and it slide right out into my hand,i then put it into the ground which i amended with garden soil, perlite,a little bat guano and a secret old school method i add egg shells every year it helps alot, you can read up on it on google if your interested, but if you transplant with that method no shock, and it acts as though it never even left the pot, your plant may have suffered mild shock, just make sure its good amount of water, espeacially with this heat:blsmoke:bongsmilie

how do you know the one is a male?

Well, it is common sense knowing whether or not fem.

I have done enough research but never really tried my skills. I will take more pics because the Female is actually really small but showing more than plenty for me to determine.

I had to move them both together into a pot unfortunately, because they grew so close together. Couldn't put it in soil, mainly because of the fat that it is in sand. Too much of a hassle.

Just moved it so it could receive more light than it was absorbing.

Growing fine the way as are.

If anything I transplanted them an hour and a half ago.

I'm sure now the Male will survive.
I know nothing comes from him, but come on I enjoy the look it adds to the back yard.

Possible hermaphrodite

;-)

it will pollinate then add seeds to your harvest, which is no good:bigjoint::leaf:

Very true...

But wouldn't I want to have seeds from the Fem
Especially if it's some bomb??

...Like I said, I would of separated them but I didn't want to worsen the problem anymore than it is. I was planning on just putting it in soil, but figured I should just keep it in the sand.

Add some nutes, or what not. But this wont happen till July of so, I just want it to veggie as much as possible.

Yea its all good to pollinate like one or 2 small branches, but the males needs to be isolated. As for your question about the eggshell, others would be bat guano, compost of any sort,i use trimmings like fan leaves and big stalks that are no good for hash or any thing like that, and compost it till next season, perlite plenty is good the more aeration the soil has the better, worm castings are really good,if your growing in ground and you have really hard soil you can buy clay amendments to losen it up,those are all different thing mainly used they are not all required but the more rich the soil is the better the plant grows, but most important would be perlite, worm castings and clay amendments and compostbongsmilie:eyesmoke:

I must be shy of common sense then, for I can only tell a male from the development of pollen sacks on it. is that what your's have, or do you have another way of detecting a male plant?

females develop white pistols, and males develop, we'll obviously balls.:eyesmoke:The plant grow's a bunch of balls, releases its pollen, and the pistols catch the pollen and begin to make seeds. When you remove the male from the picture the female gets no pollen, produces false seed pods directs its growth to buds,as there are no seeds being fomred and nurtured. If mike wanted to get seed's he would need a isolated grow room/box and extract the pollen, then manually rub onto the pistols on certain branches or the ones he wants pollinated ussaly the small lower buds that dont produce alot anyways,he would then have a few colas with plenty of seed stock for him to use,and still have seedless buds, just dont do it with 30mph winds:mrgreen:bongsmilie

Appreciated fully for your reply.

I understand I should remove the male, but i'm about 1400 miles away from it now.. lol

It's just a plant, and I can grow others later. I'm not tooooo worried bout it.
