just transfered plants to 11 litres pots...what next? plz help.

ok...so ive put 4 of my clones in 11litre pots under the 600w hps cooltube.

how much do i water them now?

some of them had enough water in the little pots they were in but in the big pots they dont?

do i just water them till it starts to come out the bottom to get them going?

scared of overwatering them.
 
hi, im under a 600 watt hps in 11 litre pots, i first used 250 ml daily with no nutes for a week, then upped to 500ml daily with light nutes. you can adjust your nutes to your desired strength as you go. ( i would never mix full strength nutes according to the bottle).
im now in flower and use 750ml with 3/4 strength nutes, and they look quite well.
if you can (time permitting) let you soil dry out a lil before watering, and rake up first inch or so lightly with your fingers.
 
at the moment i got 8 in a home box xl and its a lil cramped to say the least lol, this is my first attempt but i also have friends that have grown for years. and the guys here are very helpful.
p.s im growing bluecheese form clone. i vegd for 4 weeks and will not do that again. as theyre nearing 3.5 ft tall
 
i have a homebox xl aswell. im gonna grow 12 though and hope for at least an oz each. how much weight you after?
 
tbh, my goal is min 2oz per plant, but like i say this is my first run and anything would be a plus.
i ve started on my second kit which will be a wilma setup.
btw what light you using ? ie cool tube or?
 
600w hps cool tube. i tried it without the cool tube and the tent couldnt handle it. the cool tube works great. its warm weather in the uk here at the moment, for a change. im thinking of throwing in a 400 or 250w if the weather has turned colder when im due to flower.
 
throwing in another light? wow, hoping for arctic conditions eh lol, prolly best idea would be some below the plants ie t5's for flowering, with 12 plants that will be a thick canopy. here a pic of mine as of now with 8 in.

bit of a squeeze...u reckon 12 will be ok?

what strain you growing? mine is blue cheese.

lookin very nice and healthy the plants.
 
yer mine is bluecheese too, i think 12 is pushing it a lil in this tent tbh i know a few using them and they avreage 6 plants in them.
my next grow will be a 2 week veg max,
ive had a couple of issues ie heat stress early on.
and a lil nute burn but its a learning curve.
you cant jump in and expect to be a master at it.
ive done masses amounts of reading and will do lots more.
 
im vegging until there a foot then switching to 12/12.

you in the uk?

let me know what yield you achieve. It will be interesting to compare.
 
no im us of a,
a foot will be a good height to flip, these grow like crazy. and they can double almost triple in height when flowering,
what medium/nutes you using?
 
simple bio bloom products. one throughout the cycle and one for flowering. but im gonna get a few topshelf nutes when it comes to flowering stage and go a but mad.

my mate shown me some co2 tablets that he has started using for flowering who i got these clones off. it works really well apparantley.

what about you?
 
using bio bizz soil in most of them and canna cocco in 2 pots, just to compare and to see what to stick to next time.
 
lol i too am using the bio range,
i use bio grow for through out,
and top max/ bio bloom for flowering.
wow what are the chances?
never tried co2 as a friend said he had used and didnt gain massive yields from it.
 
thats one things we disagree on then! haha

overdrive and big bud nutes my mate has for his blue cheese in the flowering stage. very succesfull results, try them.

im going to put netting over the top of my vegging plants and when it comes to flowering, just let the buds come through the netting. This way the light can just concentrate more on the buds and produce some biggies!

one thing i forgot to ask was - how is the smell at the moment?
 
the smell is bearable as i use a filter, but when the tent is open and fan is on then mmm mmmm its absolutely lovely lol. that sounds to be a good idea withthe netting too, i think that'll work out nice.
