Two plants in day 15 of veg, decided to top them as an experiment, the one on the left seems alright but the one on the right is a bit fucked up looking on the top (I used scissors)

What you think?

wait and see, but it looks like you did cut too deep, and got one of the leaf sets

It's hard to really mess it up, you just might end up with a different number of stems than you thought you'd have. The main issue is if you take off too much or too early, looks like ya have enough leaves to recover though.

I just pinch mine off and they always turn out fine don't worry about it.
