Just took one from soil BUT????

Yea its about 8incs tall roots was like 3inchs....What i did was take it out the soil then i dipped it in water got all the dirt off...then i put it in the bottem of my pod where the roots just hit all the bubbles & water a lilbit then i pot the rocks all around it so it stays up....
will it be ok with out the rockwhool

From my understanding you don't have to have rockwool its just another medium usaully for cuttings and seed. But I'm no expert or even well versed just from what I have seen. And some hydro setups use no rockwool at all just hydroton or something like it.
