Hey all,
Happy Virginia being grown legal month! I just switched my ladies (Mexican Cheese) over to 12/12 since they are right where I want them and they have signs of pre-flower. I have an opinion-based or perhaps educated-based question. I have two Ktaxon ts-600 LED lamps in a 4 foot by 4 foot by 6 foot tall grow tent. Yes, I know, they aren't millionaire wallet lights. I can only get what is in my working budget. The lamps have the veg and flower option and can be ran at the same time for a "full-spectrum" light. Of course, the manufacturer says full-spectrum since its the red, blue, and infrared so I don't take that to mean the full spectrum of the light colors. My question is since I made the switch to 12/12, should I go bloom only or keep it veg and bloom? Any opinions, harmful effects, etc? Also, does anyone do a full 24 hours of dark? I usually just switch to 12/12 but if anyone has input on that as well, I am all ears.
In the past, I've only done bloom for fem plants unless they were autos. Autos I kept both veg and bloom on 100% of the time. They didn't care. The grow I have now is feminized and not auto.
