If you are growing without knowing if your seeds are female or male i would advice you to do has much re~search has possible let your plants grow till you can get at least 2 cutting of each.then take your clones and once you have a good root system on them put them on 12/12 off make sure you number your plants so you dont mix them.while this is going on your plants will be getting bigger,the bigger the better.has soon has your clones show male or female signs get all the males out.but i would get a small unit to put a couple of 3 ft cfls in,gon't get me wrong nothing beats the sun and in summer the window cill will beat any light you can buy.remember you only need 1 lady and she will last you a life time if you take care of them.also do a dairy so you can look back at it in the future you will be pro's at growing after a couple of grows everyone is learning,but there is nothing better than smokeing a nice joint knowing it is your creation.
