why does everyone hang leds so high? Mine are about a foot above shortest plants. 2 inches above tallest. No heat means closer lights no? Dont you get more out of them when closer?

have a new 5ft.x9ft.long x 7ft. tall that light would look great in, i will test it to the max!

ld like to see a 5x5 or 4x4 with 2 sp6500s. Now that would pump hard! 4x4 would be best to see.

Light bleaching, if you put decent led too close to young plants you can bleach them.

Led isn't agreeing with my plants

A while back when I got a kingbright 240w led, I put a plant under it at 50% power and made it sick, I'm now trying it again atm but the plants are going back the way? I started it at 100w 4ft and lowered it a bit each day, it was down to around 16" (from the tallest) yesterday but today I can...

Ive got one that keeps growing into light, she was about 8 inch clone at start now over 3 ft, l set light 12inches above canopy, cant raise or lll leave short plants in dust.shes about 1 inch from bar on more than one shoot. Other than a low ph shes not showing any sign of stopping. Thought my light is decent, commercial fixture, good company. 1482umol m2s not good? Or decent? I do know a thing or two about light depreciation, every foot gets cut to half type thing, l want everything l can get out of my light. Just see lights rated not much higher than mine 3 feet away and dont get it!
