I bought a clone from a dispensary near me like 8 to 10 weeks ago. Just threw it in my tent with the other starts i had going for my food garden. I forgot the timer was set to 12/12. The clone was labeled Royal Valley Reserve. Anyway it was a meager 4 inches when I got it and over a couple weeks it had doubled in size. Then by week 3 it had shot up to about 18 inches and I was thinking to myself wow this is a vigorous growing plant. Took it out to transplant it into a bigger pot and noticed it was flowering.

It has just now fully reveged and its growing again. The flowers on it smell great though. Something to look forward too

DonkeyShow,
Loved your story about accidentally flowering your clone. Cracked me up. Sounds like you were stoned when you put it in your garden.

I'm taking a break from new grow room construction and smoking some Washington state dispensary C-99. A little too much of a head high for my mood. Wish I had some GG,

What I want to know is...why, when I drop a joint, does it never just stays where it dropped.. I gotta search the whole damn room. Do they grow legs or what?

I don't smoke a lot anymore(anxiety when I over do it) but I enjoy growing for myself. Rarely do I roll a joint, though when I do, they last me a few days. JD, roll up some cones so it will just roll around in a circle! Problem solved lol.

I still have a few ounces from previous grows so my stoner moment isn't pushing to buy flower. When buying from a dispensary I usually go for mid range hybrids leaning towards sativa though.

Here in Oregon, like Washington, you can find whatever you want in the abundant dispensary. Such a great time to be alive

DS,
Cones! Great idea...bongsmilie They could make flourescent rolling papers for guys like me.

I haven't grown for awhile so no homegrown stashed away. Even in the tiny town I live in...there are two dispenseries. Prices vary...one is a little cheaper. They have bud, kif, edibles, odd concentrates for vaping. I never really expected this to happen, but I like it.

Things were way different back when...

Have enough difficulty rolling round ones...
Plus they would still bounce...like little ping pong balls off into the dust in the corner. Every time! :blsmoke:

Put jelly on your fingers then you can't drop them.

Later you can suck the jelly off and have a nice nap.

Good morning guys...did I really post such silliness? Blame it on the c-99. Going to resume room construction today. I plan on buying a Panasonic whisperline. Reliable and the quietest fan I've come across. Any other opinions? I know some guys buy a fan a little bigger then they need and use a motor controller. I don't want the fan motor to overheat or anything. Never used a motor controller before. Thoughts?

What makes a motor heat up is resistance (both electrical and physical, but electrical is not important here)
You shouldn't heat up your fan motor unless the airflow is severely (and I mean SEVERELY) restricted or the blades are dragging.

I'm thinking i'll be OK. Phresh filter rated 550cfm and my air intake is a passive light proof darkroom vent rated at 400cfm

I just haven't pinned down a fan size I'm thinking a 240 Panasonic would spin freely and they are super quiet.

PS (edit) Done a little more research and I think I'll get the 340 cfm and maybe dial it down a tad in case I decide to expand my room later. This will give me a total room change of air in a minute.
